3. Information We Process

We process a minimal amount of information, only as needed to operate the app and generate responses. This processing is temporary and not used to identify you.

3.1 Chat Messages

When you send a message to Prometheus AI, the text is securely sent to our backend (via Cloudflare Workers) and to the AI model so that it can generate a reply.

  • We do not store your chat messages for long-term use.
  • Messages are processed in real time and then discarded.
  • We do not link chat content to your identity.

3.2 Voice Input (Microphone Permission)

Prometheus AI includes an optional voice input feature. When you use this feature, the app temporarily accesses your device’s microphone to convert your speech to text.

  • Audio is used only to transcribe your speech into text.
  • We do not save your audio recordings.
  • The app does not listen in the background when you are not using voice input.

4. How We Use Information

We use your input (text or voice) only to generate an AI response. We do not use your data for:

  • Advertising or marketing
  • Behavioral tracking or profiling
  • Data monetization or resale

5. Third-Party Services

Prometheus AI relies on trusted third-party services to function correctly:

5.1 Cloudflare Workers

We use Cloudflare Workers as a secure relay between the app and the AI model. Cloudflare may temporarily handle anonymized metadata (such as IP addresses or user-agent) to provide security, performance, and anti-abuse protections.

5.2 AI Model Provider

Your messages are processed by an AI model solely to generate responses. We do not use your content to train public models or for unrelated purposes.

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information while it is in transit:

  • All communication between the app, our backend, and the AI model uses HTTPS encryption.
  • We do not maintain long-term databases of your chat content.
  • We limit the data processed to the minimum required for functionality.

7. Children’s Privacy

Prometheus AI is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the app and submitted personal data, please contact us so we can address the issue.

8. Your Rights

Because we do not store personal data or maintain user profiles, typical data rights (such as data export or deletion of stored profiles) are generally not applicable.
